HOUSEKEEPER POSITION - EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED

About the Villa

It is an absolutely beautiful Villa located in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, which is a famous place located in between Nice and Monaco, in the South of France.  

The Villa is used to work under very high standard and responds to high demand. 

This position is dedicated to SELF EMPLOYED canddates ONLY - or candidates willing to create an auto entrepreneur status - or candidates who already run a business and can therefore issue an invoice.

All the positions are LIVE OUT. 

The project

We are looking for 1 Housekeeper ready to start working from July 03rd, 2023 till August 31st, 2023 included. 

This position is only for 10 days in June, July and August.  There is no possibility of seasonal contract. This position is for self employed candidates only. 

The owners will be in the villa around end of June - beginning July, they will come and go several times. They will probably stay full time from beginning August till August, 22nd, 2023.

You will report directly to the Villa Manager and to the Head Housekeeper. There is 1 housekeeper working in the villa too. 

Depending on your shifts, you will be in charge of:

- doing the housekeeping, service and laundry. 
- doing service such as the breakfast service and/or the lunch service and/or the dinner service. (defined based on your shifts)
- doing the housekeeping and take care of the laundry

Non exhaustive list of tasks: 

For Housekeeping: 

• You will be in-charge of vacuuming/cleaning floors, carpets, surfaces, etc.
• You will be in-charge of making the beds, changing linens, setting up the bedrooms and bathrooms, etc
• You will be in-charge of cleaning/sanitizing bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and countertops
• You will be in-charge of replenishes toiletries, towels, supplies, etc
• Ensuring the main areas as corridors, living rooms are always dusted, tidy and well organized in accordance to the owner's habits. 
• in charge of contacting (liaising with) the dry cleaners for all the owner's clothes which need specific treatment and ask them to come and collect them.

For Laundry:

• Taking care of all the duties in regards to the Laundry generally speaking
• Basically, you will in charge of all the linen of the Villa such as towels, bathrobes, bath mats, bed sheets, pillowcases, kitchen cloth, table cloth, etc...
• You will be in charge of washing, cleaning, stain removal, drying them, ironing of linens
• You will be in charge of cleaning the wardrobes and the dressings. 
• You will ensure that the linens and clothes are in perfect state before they are put within the proper wardrobes and dressings. 
• You will be in charge of cleaning the handbags and the shoes before putting them back in the wardrobes.
• However, the owner's linen will go directly to the dry-cleaners, as will some of the bed linen to facilitate your work.  

For Service: 

• You will be in-charge of meal services - the breakfast, lunch and dinner services. 
• Setting up and cleaning the dining table, ceramics, cutlery, etc, before and after the meals
• Discreetly serving the food and drinks as requested by the owners
• Ensuring a discreet execution of services without being noticed by the owners, behind the scenes

Desired profile 

• You must be very autonomous and able to report and respect your hierarchy in the same time. 
• We are looking for someone who is passionate about service and likes to work in private villas. Previous experience as a housekeeper or as a Head Housekeeper is MANDATORY. 
• You are comfortable in housekeeping, service and laundry. 
• You are multi task and flexible, able to follow the processes that are already implemented and able to be reactive when facing something unusual. 
• If someone in the team needs help, you need to be hands on. 
• The team is very close, and everybody, even the Villa Manager work hands in hands. 
• You are a smiling person, you like to work in a team and you are discrete. You have a positive attitude. 
• You are autonomous but you know to work in a team. 
• You are always on time and present well, you have a real sense of human relations and communication comes with an ease to you. 
• You MUST speak French. English is a plus. 
• You MUST have a car and a driving licence as you can not access the Villa easily, public transport option can not be considered. 
• You DO NOT HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD, you are honest and trustworthy. 

Salary : 300 euros/ day - 8400 euros / month 

(300 euros / day x 28 days = 8400 euros, including 1 day off per week).

You must be registered as an Auto-entrepreneur (Self Employed).
