Job offer and position of Captain/Skipper in Antibes on Catamaran

Our client is looking for a Captain / Skipper to navigate, manoeuvre and maintain a new Lagoon 65 Catamaran, which is nearing completion.

The vessel will be moored in the Mediterranean for the summer and in the winter it will sail in the Caribbean. She will be used for charter and private sailing. Position to be filled as soon as possible on a full-time basis. French RIF contract.

Tasks and responsibilities of the position

Responsible for navigation and equipment
Mastery of onboard technology and navigation tools
Ensure proper maintenance of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment
Ensure and enforce safety rules on board during charters
Management and control of refuelling
Maintenance of cabins, corridors, deck, navigation station
Management of manoeuvres (berthing, fenders, mooring, anchoring)
Relationship with the harbour master's office
Interface with external service providers
Helping the crew to ensure the smooth running of charters
Reporting to the ship owner

Minimum 2 to 3 seasons experience in a similar role
Captain 200 Sail
750 Kw Mechanic Certificate
STCW10
Up to date medical
Speak French and English
Versatile, dynamic person
Sense of service and discretion
Strong team spirit required
Autonomous and organised
Driving licence
