Domestic Couple - Miami

This role would suit couples with yachting experience, hence wanting to post here.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a domestic couple to assist on a 25,000 square ft estate in Miami. The client spends six months of the year in residence there and is accustomed to high-end service. They are looking for a highly experienced couple to join a well-established team. One individual is to manage housekeeping and laundry and the other is to manage all aspects of service. This is a live-in position; accommodation is in a separate house on the estate and includes all food and amenities. The position will be to work alongside two other live-in housekeepers, a driver, a chef, an exterior/groundsman, and an estate manager. No children reside at the estate and no pets.

Responsibilities

HOUSEKEEPER

• All aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of residence
• Laundry duties inclusive of ironing and wardrobe management
• Management and organization of storage areas
• Collaborating with estate manager
• Additional duties as needed and requested

BUTLER

• All aspects of service including all meals, drinks service, guest reception and special events
• Table settings and decoration
• Maintenance of silverware, glassware, china and linens
• Collaborating with estate manager
• Additional duties as needed and requested

Ideal Candidate

• Based in Miami, Florida
• Strong command of the English language, good communication skills both written and verbal
• Previous experience in a similar role for high-profile clients and proven longevity
• Excellent eye for detail, thorough knowledge of all aspects of housekeeping and laundry
• Extensive experience in high-end service, confident in various service styles and wine knowledge
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and under instruction of estate manager
• High level of flexibility and willingness to be on call to the Principals
• Enthusiasm, dedication to responsibilities and a positive demeanour
• Professional, discreet and well presented
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Excellent references required from previous employers

Package 

• Salary: $120,000 - $150,000
• Start Date: ASAP
• Paid vacation: 1 month
