Position Snapshot

• $200,000 AUD / Year DOE
• Cayman Island Flag
• 500gt unlimited (minimum)

A soon to arrive into Australia 46m (new build) MY is on the search for a 500gt or 3000gt captain to take ownership of their new program
Being delivered into Australia in December 2022, the yacht will undertake some basic warranty work on the West Coast, before coming around to Melbourne for summer
The yacht will primarily be based in QLD and will be available for charter from Gold Coast to Lizard Island & Beyond.
2023/2024 the vessel may look to travel into the South Pacific Islands before returning back to QLD
The yacht will be run with a core fulltime crew of 7 + additional as required for charters / deliveries
The owner is very personable, looking for the right captain to take control of his new asset and will be given allot of autonomy to run the yacht effectively without much oversight

The Ideal Candidate

• 500gt or 3000gt captain (MCA or AMSA)
• Work Rights for Australia
• Charter experience
• An effective manager
• East Coast experience preferable
• Can take ownership of charter program
• Longevity in previous roles
• Work effectively with central agent
