Family Description and Location

A Russian speaking principle based on a private Estate in Virginia Water is looking for an experienced Russian and English-speaking House Manager to run their property and look after the family to the highest standards. The house is 750 sq meters with separate staff quarters and set in formal gardens. The family also have an apartment in Central London where you also might have to work form.

Job Description

Organization and control over the maintenance of the Property, technical inspections all areas of the property and schedule maintenance and preparation of the Property and engineering equipment for seasonal operation, sanitary maintenance of the Property and adjacent territory.

• Organization and control of the work of service and contracting organizations performing Property maintenance.
• Conduct minor repairs on their own
• Elimination of emergency situations
• Maintaining of technical documentation and ensure its safety
• Participation in property insurance and interaction with insurance companies.
• Search for contractors and subcontractors for repairs / finishing works.
• Interaction with contractors and subcontractors during repair / finishing works.
• Supervision of repair / finishing works.

Budget preparation and oversight of expenses relating to the Property.

• Interaction with the employer's accountant to pay household bills, including settlements with service and contractor organizations.
• Monthly preparation of a proposed operating and procurement budget for the maintenance of the Property, with an estimate of all costs

Recruitment and Management of domestic staff

• Coordination of household staff, selection and training, distribution of duties, work schedules and holidays (2 housekeepers, gardener)
• work with recruitment agencies in the replacement and / or selection of personnel
• Provision of special clothing and equipment for personnel
• Staff recruitment for seasonal and temporary work

Family needs

• Providing assistance to the employer's family and guests as directed.
• Organization of trips to and from airports.
• Booking air tickets and/or train tickets
• Travel with the employer's family when needed.
• Reservation of restaurants
• Car rental
• Personal shopping
• Interaction with the school, tutors and coaches of the child (boy 9 years old)
• Transport accompaniment of the child to school and / or sports activities (by car of the employer), planning the weekly schedule of the child, taking into account school and out-of-school education.

Candidate Requirements
You must be able to speak Russian and English and have either British Citizenship or a residence permit/work permit. Sponsorship is possible and the client is prepared to organize this for you. You will have experience of working in a similar role for a private family, have your own car and be a good driver. You will have long term excellent checkable references.

Days of Work and Salary
6 days from 7.50 to 17.00
When the client is travelling you are able to work a much shorter week with much shorter hours. The client travels frequently.
SALARY: from £3000 pounds net per month negotiable (£51K++ negotiable according to experience and references) , paid vacation (28 calendar days), compensation for the cost of gasoline
