A high profile 54m private MY is on the search for a deckhand to join their professional team
The yacht is used privately only for a mixture of family style trips and business focused cruises / lunches
The deckhand will work under an experienced Lead Deckhand & Bosun who will offer training and direction
The yacht operates a large chase tender that the deckhand may have the opportunity to refine their boat handling skills on
The yacht is happy with live onboard or ashore options and will consider candidates Australia wide.
The vessel maintains Sydney as its permanent berth with yard times around the Gold Coast
Itinerary for 2022 is to be confirmed but using Sydney as its home between any extended trips away
The position could suit a deckhand with a season’s experience or a more experienced candidate wanting to build Australian tickets

The Ideal Candidate

• Superyacht experience preferred
• STCW
• Deckhand experience (either yachts or commercial)
• Some experience with washdowns and detailing
• Presentable and understands superyacht hospitality
• Exceptional eye for detail
• Enjoys being hands on
• Happy to assist across departments when required
• Looking to build tender driving experience
• Professional attitude and keen to learn
• Work rights for Australia
