Private Chef – (Part-time) -Private Estate- Melbourne

Are you a culinary trained chef looking for a role with terrific flexibility?

Are you interested in being based in Melbourne?

A high-profile family is on the search for a private residence chef for 3 days / week, ongoing.

The family is open to the chef working onsite to prepare evening meals (during the day), readymade lunches / snacks or a drop off system done remotely

The residence is run with a permanent / long-term house manager + staff and the chef will work in conjunction with a small team to coordinate meal delivery & food / pantry supplies, but not service

The residence is well equipped onsite, with state of art stores, ovens, burners, kitchen aids ect

Hours range between 6- 8 hours / day pending on or offsite preference, but to wrap things up by 3:30pm as principles preference for staff not to be present for afternoon / evening (ie: chef not present at evening meal service times)

Ideal days will be Wednesday & Thursday (set) + one flexible day which could be determined to the chefs availability, possibly Fridays or as available

The family may also throw the occasional dinner party which the chef may be asked to cater for which tends to fall on a Saturday when it happens, drop off or onsite optional

Family has a fairly open culinary preference selection, but focused on healthy, low carb, low sugar, low gluten … no allergies

The role could suit a variety of chef candidates, from the superyacht chef looking to go land based to a Melbourne based restaurant chef looking for lifestyle.

Longevity is important and valued which is seen through principles existing staff retention rate
