Do you enjoy working on a charter yacht with a water sports emphasis?

A high profile 113’ expedition motor yacht is currently on the search for an experienced captain (or project manager) to join their busy yard & cruising program.
Run with the a crew of 6 , the fulltime captain should ideally have cruise experience in – expedition style + managed charters. West Coast or top end experience would be favourable but not essential. (experienced guide onboard for Kimberley season)
The yacht is currently undergoing an extensive yard period on the Gold Coast , due for completion around September/October 2022
Scope of works include full repaint, 15 Year Lloyds Survey/Mechanical R & M, aft deck modification & interiors refurbishment.
The owner would consider either
a) Fulltime captain (for yard & beyond)
b) Project Manager (for yard only)

After relaunch the vessel will be returning back to Fremantle (home berth) by end Nov 2022 for Rottnest/Summer season
2022- Cruising WA Coast (Abrolhos/Coral Coast/Kimberley returning to Fremantle Nov 2023)
Post 2023 – international (Could be Indo, PNG, Maldives etc) pending charters/travel landscape
The yacht has a strong focus on water sports, particularly diving and fishing.
The vessel is foreign flagged and open to MCA or AMSA tickets

The Ideal Candidate

• Master 4, or MCA 500gt (minimum)
• STCW + Sea Farer medical
• Experience with cruising grounds
• Charter & mini ISM experience
• Strong project management skills
• Good Business acumen
• Strong watersports emphasis

Start Date- January 2022 (with handover)

Salary-$165,000-$185,000 AUD / Year DOE, TRP, + Mobile phone allowance ($70 per month), 6 weeks annual leave + fatigue leave + flight allowance of $6k per annum, access to company car (for company business).

Accommodation costs paid for by Company where crew not able to live aboard + incentives.
