Stew/Deck Private Motor Yacht – Sydney & Whitsundays

Are you a stewardess looking to build some experience on deck?

Are you able to undertake a trial in Sydney?

A family orientated private yacht is on the search for a stewardess/deckhand to join their busy program

The yacht maintains a permanent berth in Sydney and is used mostly over the weekend in summer with the occasional trip during the week

Over the winter period the yacht will travel North and will be based out of the Whitsundays for around 3 months.

During this time the family will fly in/out for periodic use of the yacht

The position is open to the keen greeny to the seasoned stew but will be favouring candidates who are enthusiastic, keen to help wherever required and who can offer a firm commitment to the yachts schedule

Schedule is Sydney November to July, Whitsundays August to October

(must have own accommodation for Sydney period, live on for Whitsundays only)

Ratio of deck to stew work will be 50:50

The ideal candidate

• No Quals required, but STCW preferred
• 1 seasons experience or daywork minimum
• Preferably from a hospitality background
• Keen to help out on deck, lines , washdowns ect
• Bubbly and professional work demeanour
• Can assist with basic food prep, salads, organise a food platter
• Easy going in nature
• Work rights for Australia
• Has accommodation and can trial in Sydney
• Salary $55,000-$60,000 AUD / Year

Start Date– Flexible- but can trial within 1-2 weeks
