Captain & Stewardess 30m Charter Yacht – Sydney

A well-established Sydney based charter yacht is on the search for an experienced team to join their busy and active program for the Sydney summer and beyond.

The yacht is run to the highest standard and operates with a professional team of 3.

(additional crew taken on for larger charters, including a chef)

Trips will consist predominantly of short day excursions in Sydney Harbour with a few overnighters in Pittwater around the December/January period.

As the yacht maintains a permanent berth in Sydney it would be the preference for the couple to have their own accommodation ashore. There may be some flexibility for a live onboard option for the right team.

The team will have a very experienced, friendly and reasonable yacht manager for shore based support who can assist the captain & stew with the overall management of the vessel when needed.

The Ideal Captain

• Master 4 and MED 2
• Experience on vessels of similar size
• Local knowledge of Sydney harbour
• Strong boat handling skills
• Sound engineering ability
• Good communication skills
• Can work within budgets
• Good crew management ability
• Charter experience would be preferable but not essential

The Ideal Stewardess

• 2-3 Seasons experience minimum on superyachts
• Exceptional service and housekeeping skills
• A strong allrounder, can assist on deck or in the galley when required
• Can assist with ships paperwork and accounts
• Familiar with provisioning in Australia
• Enjoys entertaining
• Highly presentable
• Current STCW and medical

The team must have full work rights for Australia or New Zealand

Salary- Negotiable for the right team, can release upon application. paid in Australian dollars + Super

Start Date- Flexible
